Stare it long enough, and you start to see different coloured blocks/squares – intercepting each other. Wellllll….I dunno, I saw a photo of a house similar to this and tried to make it, this was the result – very modern and very spacious. This lot contains Amel’s classy Eloise Living set and is a premium download at www.simsconnection.com

Seems a morgue or institutional building, not a familiar home.

I think she may have used the interior half wall tool on the top level of the house to make the brown section taller. She then used the same exact paint on the sides.
this is a beautiful design. It’s so simple yet sophisticated. I really like how you have floor-to-ceiling windows in the home which create a feeling of openess and how you still make the space seem private with the wall around half of the lot.
Do the high horizontal rectangular windows come with a certain expansion pack? I would love to be able to use them in some of my designs.

Hey, I can confirm with everyone that they DID use half walls to make it seem taller. However if you’d look from the top they’d look less attractive, but still get the same idea across. As for the windows I think they might come in open for business. I know some of the items
Don’t come in any expansion pack and might have been downloaded from a website like: modthesims2.com
Hope that might clear some stuff up, even though I’m not the desiner of this house, I’ve used a numb of techniques they used. They also , I believe, used the cheat Code. Moveobjects on (off to turn it off) to move the plants on top of that dirt outside of the house.
