At last – your Simmies can swim in the sea!!

That’s right, dream no more because your Sims can swim in the sea! Hibiscus Avenue VI is a classic wooden board beachhouse, ready for your Sims to move into – with real beach frontage for them to enjoy!

Don’t wait until Bon Voyage is released, take them for a swim now lol!

Credits to DarylMarkloc at MTS2 for his Aus Fed Collection, and to Eedgan and Just the Bast at MTS2 for their combined tutorials which I used to create this real Sim beach :) Note: this lot has to be placed along the coastline in Bluewater Village in order to work.

Even Gordon Ramsay would approve!

A modern, minimalist restaurant designed especially for those Sims who want to be “seen”. With ample seating and breathing space, this restaurant features a kitchen-side dining area for Sims who want to watch the spectacular cooking action, live in the kitchen. Featuring custom content by Amel, Susan, Janna and myself, this community lot has been built on a compact 2×2 lot and is a premium download at www.simsconnection.com

This version has not been altered much from the October 05 version except that it now has an American flag in the centre of the parade ground. It comes fully furnished (basic military camp style) with various special items such as the OR (with training items, and yes the helicopter comes with the lot as well!). Especially for MASH fans, you can find this lot in the Architecture section at www.simsconnection.com

Stare it long enough, and you start to see different coloured blocks/squares – intercepting each other. Wellllll….I dunno, I saw a photo of a house similar to this and tried to make it, this was the result – very modern and very spacious. This lot contains Amel’s classy Eloise Living set and is a premium download at www.simsconnection.com

Inspired by old colour photos of the classic Australian beach shacks in the 50’s, these small yet functional little starters are perfect for your single Sim! Costing under 20,000 Simoleons, fully furnished with car, these little starters will fit nicely into your beach neighbourhood. And to finish off this 1950’s starter theme, a cute little Classic Diner – complete with Janna’s 1950’s Diner set. Grab them now at www.simsconnection.com in the Architecture section.

This is actually one of my neighbours’ farmhouse – it’s a beautiful Australian Federation farmhouse that commands striking views of the hundreds of acres of apple orchards, mountains, hills, forests and rivers around it. They also have a horse grazing at the front, just to perfect the picture – very storybook and just too irresistable to recreate from a Sims 2 point of view. Big thanks to DarylMarkloc from MTS2 again, for this fabulous Australian Federation Collection which I used extensively to achieve the right look for this house. As this lot is on a hillside, it is best placed on a hillside within your neighbourhood – the driveway is also upwardly sloping – and it really functions! Available as a free lot at www.simsconnection.com

Inspired by Janna’s Beatnik Coffee Bar set, this hip venue is dark and delicious – well the food they serve upstairs is anyway :p On the third floor, a bar and gaming lounge – perhaps a place to rendevouz, Grim Fandango style. I designed the recoloured painting sign…

I had all sorts of trouble trying to prevent SimPE from making it blurry. Ultimately, after some extensive searching for this problem, I found that if I used Build DXT 5 Format (not the highest compression but the best image retention) it would appear sharper, less blurry. This lot is available as both a Premium and Free lot (the free version does not contain the coffee set)
